Retro Game Stands have left port!

First, some pictures...

There they are - all of them (except RGS-White, which he just didn't add to the picture but they ARE coming :) ).  The grey has been color-matched to an actual SNES cartridge so it should be very close to the same shade, and they're all looking GREAT!

And they're on a boat!

You guys literally ordered a ton of stands - over 2000 pounds of Retro Game Stands have left port and are headed for the US.  They're currently scheduled to reach me on February 24th, and I'll start shipping immediately when they arrive.  Even with assistance, it will take about two weeks to get them all out the door and into the mail, but U.S. orders should expect to start seeing them come in at the end of the month or beginning of March.

So what's next?

Campaign #2 won't start in earnest until these first round of stands are in your hands - but I do plan to work through March/April to put together a campaign for Case Trilogy Stands: a three-tiered stand that can display CD/DVD and other cased games (all the way up to SegaCD and U.S. Saturn!)

Just a quick video unboxing of the 1UPcards that just arrived.  Remember: if you pledge(d) for four or more stands in the Pledge Manager, you'll receive one of these for free!

You can also add more via the Pledge Manager if you have lots of dirty carts to clean :)

Update on Campaign Lock

Campaign Lock Extended

Hey everybody, just a short update.  Some of you noticed that I did not lock the campaign on Monday as was originally planned - this is because, after talking to BackerKit, there's really no benefit to locking the pledge manager until the product has made it across the U.S. border.

So I have decided to extend your access to the Pledge Manager until a day or two before I receive the product - the factory is currently producing product and plan to ship it as early as next week.  It will reach the U.S. in early February, and I will give you all a "24 Hour Notice" before then locking the campaign.

What This Means

If you're one of the 55 Backers who have not yet filled out your Pledge Manager - please do so to ensure you get your product in a timely manner.

If you have already filled out your Pledge Manager, thank you!  And also, if your collection grows between now and February, you'll still be able to add additional stands to your order at the same price, with the same "first wave" shipping, up until the pledge manager is closed.

Summary

- We have fixed the issue with the clip that was causing wobbly cartridges.  They're now ready for full production, and they feel GREAT!

- My newest samples are in Transparent color - you can see samples of them in the video or the image above.  

- Orders are going in on January 11th. IF YOU HAVE NOT FILLED OUT YOUR BACKERKIT SURVEY YET, OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MAKE ANY CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER, PLEASE DO SO IMMEDIATELY to ensure I can deliver your stands as part of the first wave.

A Quick Update on Due Dates

Hey everybody!  Due to the Christmas season being busy for so many people, I'm pushing the PledgeManager due date until January 8th, 2020.  Please make sure to fill out your pledge manager before that day to ensure speedy delivery of your stands.

Your pledge manager link was sent to the email address associated with your Kickstarter account - just search your inbox for "Syncoplay BackerKit" and you should find it.  If you have trouble, feel free to send me a direct message and I can make sure you have received it.

Next Steps

On Monday, I should be receiving the updated samples with the improved clip - in TRANSPARENT plastic! :)  I'm excited about this one for sure - if all goes well, I'll be able to give it the greenlight early next week for full production.
