You all made this worth doing all over again - the first campaign was a resounding success, so now we're back for Round 2.  And... drumroll...

This is easily the most versatile display stand in my game room - use it for DVDs, CDs, Sega Saturn, Nintendo Switch, DS/3DS/Vita, Famicom Disk System, Atari carts, NES and Genesis boxes... I've been printing them in small numbers for years, but with a factory run I can make them better and get them out to more game rooms than I ever could with a 3D printer.

Campaign #2 Preview: Modern Media Stands

My second campaign, scheduled for a Summer 2021 launch, will be for Modern Media Stands: a tiered display stand for CDs/DVDs/Blu-Ray/Switch/DS... and pretty much anything else that comes in a disc-style case.  Display your favorite games, movies and music instead of just the spine!

Each stand displays up to three cases, and has a special notched design that will properly position CD/DVD/Double-CD and Longbox cases appropriately so that nothing is just sitting loose in the stand.

Campaign Fulfillment Complete!

553 Pledges Fulfilled!

If you completed your survey and haven't received your package yet, I can confidently say "it's in the mail" - because they ALL are!  Thank you all so much for your patience during fulfillment - this has been a massive undertaking, and coupled with my day job (as a freelance game developer) I'm honestly happy I could get it all out in just slightly over two weeks :)

The Ones That Haven't Shipped

There are still 76 backers that I cannot fulfill - I will continue to send reminder emails through the end of May to those who are left, and after that I will be happy to fulfill your order if you reach out to me. 

If you received an email from BackerKit today, you probably have an issue that is stopping me from shipping your order.

- 33 people have never filled out their Pledge Manager survey.  I cannot fill orders that have not completed their survey, so please do at your earliest convenience.  You will have received a reminder email from BackerKit if you are in this list.

- 39 people filled out their survey, but never actually chose any stands to add to their order.  I have re-opened your survey and you should have received an email from BackerKit today, but if you fill out and resubmit your survey please Private Message me when you are complete, as BackerKit's tool will not automatically notify me.

- 3 credit cards have been declined.  You will have received an email from BackerKit today if you are in this list.

- 1 person is in a territory that I currently cannot ship to.  We have already discussed this and your package will be sent as soon as trade re-opens.

Tracking #s

One issue I've recognized throughout fulfillment is that not everybody received a tracking # - I've discovered why, but it's too late to fix it for most U.S. shipments (international, however, should be much improved).

If you haven't received your shipment or a tracking #, please send me a Private Message and I'd be happy to send your tracking info to you.  It MUST be a private message, not a post in Comments, as Kickstarter does not let me access your real-name in the Comments section, nor do I want to post any Personally Identifiable Info of yours publicly.

Incorrect Orders / Broken Stands / Etc

While I've been as careful as I can to be accurate with these orders, we've already discovered a couple issues - it's to be expected on a project this big, but I'm aiming for 100% customer satisfaction here.  If you have an issue, I'll make sure you're taken care of.

- For any issues, please Private Message me with the issue and (preferably) a photo of the issue.  The photo is very helpful as it can help me see what I've done wrong and use it to improve my future processes.

U.S. Shipping Complete - International Happening This Weekend :)

U.S. Shipping Wave 1 Complete - Wow, that was alot of boxes!

Nearly 450 orders, customized, packaged and sent in slightly over 1 week.  My everything is sore - but it's so worth it to see everybody on Twitter sharing their game room pics!  I'm retweeting everything I see, so come take a look @syncoplay for some inspiration.

If you haven't received your shipment yet, check the email address associated with your Kickstarter (including Spam folder) - if you're in the U.S., you should have received a tracking # within the last week.

Wave 1?  What Is Wave 2?

There are still 20+ U.S. backers who have incomplete surveys - I will be sending out emails to all of them to try and get as many orders correct as possible, but I didn't want this to delay anybody else's order.  

Why does BackerKit still say it hasn't shipped? 

Let's just say the last week has been rough.  All but one of the people who were going to help with fulfillment were either out of town or sick with Covid-19 - so I had a choice: keep BackerKit updated, but make everybody wait longer to get their stands, or streamline the process at the expense of updating BackerKit.  I chose the latter, because you've waited long enough to get these stands.  BackerKit will eventually get updated and closed out, but you'll likely have your stands before then :)

And yes, I said "all but one" - huge thanks to my 71-year-old mother in law who handled the shipping labels portion so I could focus on filling all of  those boxes :)

What About International?

International shipping takes considerably longer, but this time I have more help!  Tomorrow (Saturday, 4-17) I have an army of family members coming to fill all of the orders, and while I can't guarantee I'll have the time to print all of the labels on Saturday (that's the part that takes so long on International orders) I'm targeting Wednesday, April 21st to have all International Wave 1 orders complete.

Please understand that I'm moving as fast as possible, but international shipping lines and ports are kind of a wreck right now and it might take extra time to receive anything (Canada, UK and EU orders tend to arrive within a few weeks but some other countries can take anywhere from weeks to months to arrive - this is totally outside of my control).

This is just one of TWO trucks we filled :)

68 cases of Retro Game Stands arrived safely! 

All of the colors look great - and the transparent look even better than the early prototypes.

Overall, I'm incredibly happy with the quality here - as good as, and in many ways better than, the 3D printed versions... without all of the overhead of 3D printing!

Took about half a day to optimize my process, but now I can get the average order packed & ready in 2 minutes.

Yesterday I got 108/575 packages ready to ship

Family & friends will be helping over the next week so we can get these to you ASAP.

What's Next?

My top priority is to get these shipments into your homes - you should receive an email from ShipStation.com that contains a tracking number once your package is ready to go.

After that... I hear whispers from my CD/DVD game collection... "hey, what about us?

Important: 29 Backers Did Not Select Any Stands!

I see 29 backers who DID fill out their pledge manager, but did NOT actually select any stands for purchase.  According to my spreadsheet, I'd just be sending you a 1UPcard.  More likely, you were waiting until the last minute to finalize your choices.

 If you're one of these backers, please email me at [email protected] and I'll reopen your BackerKit pledge manager so that you can select your stands.

 Note: If you are unsure if you're on this list, you should still be able to log into your BackerKit and check your order.

On Delivery Issues / Wrong Product

With a project this complex, I'm bound to make a mistake or two.  If your package has any issues (missing product, incorrect colors, etc) please reach out and I'll be happy to correct it.  I'm doing everything I can to keep things accurate (double-checking every box before closing), and I want to make sure everybody is 100% happy with their order.

 What happens if you don't select any stands?

 - After all other shipments are shipped, I will be sending an email to any backer who has not selected their stands yet.  If you respond to that email, we'll re-open your pledge manager and finish your pledge.

 - After a month, if you still haven't responded, I will default to sending Retro Game Stands (Black) equal to your pledge amount.  I want to make sure everybody gets the product they paid for (to the best of my ability)
