Stands on the Ocean
Hey everybody, I wanted to give another update as today was intended to be the day I received the stands. However, it looks like the dates have once again shifted - most likely due to overcrowded ports delaying the ships.
I want to be transparent, and I will continue to keep you updated, but if you're the type who would like to track it yourself here's the link:
Current Date of Arrival (in Los Angeles): 3/24 (add two weeks for delivery to Salt Lake City where I'll be shipping from)
I very much apologize for the late delivery - COVID has slowed everything, and it's clear that my attempts to create deadlines using "typical numbers" were inaccurate for the current state of things. These will be learnings I bring into my second campaign to give everybody more accurate estimates for delivery.
In the meantime, I very much appreciate your support and I'll continue to keep you posted.
- Joe

Address Lock
Address lock will happen tomorrow morning - you should have all received an email with the subject line "Last call to update your address" from BackerKit yesterday. Please make sure your addresses are up to date so that I don't ship them to the wrong place :)
In addition, there are fourteen cards that did not have sufficient funds to cover the payment - please double-check and make sure your payment went through to ensure that your shipment is not delayed.
Updated Delivery Time
First, I would like to thank you guys for your patience as this all comes together. This is the first time I've ever done overseas manufacturing and I'm learning as I go. But we're in the home stretch now, baby!
The ship was intended to arrive at port on February 15th - for reasons unknown, it is instead arriving at port this week.
This puts the estimated time of delivery at March 10th, after which shipping to your homes will happen as fast as I can pack boxes! I will have assistance in my shipping center (see below), so my estimates are that I should be able to get the entire run shipped out within a week of delivery.
For complete transparency, the ship they are arriving on is the EVER FAST 1179-001E (the irony of the name for a ship that is 10 days late is not lost on me).
Syncoplay Shipping Center (aka My Garage)
So that's alot of cardboard :)
The box behind the shelf on the right contains 1000 Syncoplay-branded 1UPcards. Along with over 800 cardboard boxes, 15 rolls of packing tape (probably not enough), a thermal label printer, 1000 shipping labels, 850 feet of bubble wrap and a very large bottle of hand moisturizer. Since this picture was taken, I've added an industrial-size roll of foam packing material picked up from a nearby warehouse that went out of business. So... I'm ready! Jussssst as soon as the product arrives...
And now for something completely different
For 3D printing/tabletop/DnD fans: Check out Fates End Dice Towers 2!
There's a new campaign launching Monday from Kim Bourrie, aka Fates End, aka the love of my life - and it's looking incredible! In the first campaign, she delivered 35 amazing 3D printable dice towers, plus decorative versions, custom dice trays, and 8 "dice jails" to punish the low-rollers. Now she's starting round 2, and branching away from pure fantasy to add Sci-Fi, Steampunk, Lovecraftian Horror and so much more, as well as dice boxes, GM screens, and more!
I'll be real with you: she's better at this Kickstarter thing than I am. Ask anybody who backed her first campaign - she exceeded expectations every step of the way. So if you have a 3D printer and want some AMAZING new stuff to print (all support free!) you'll WANT to follow this campaign.
If you have any questions, feel free to comment here (as I'm literally just down the hall from her all day) or send them to @Kimbolt3D on Twitter. Happy printing!

43 Surveys Left Incomplete
You guys have been great, we're at 93% survey completion. That does mean, however, that 43 surveys are still outstanding. You paid for the product - I want to make sure you get it on time! :)
Please fill out the survey IMMEDIATELY if you haven't yet, by searching the email inbox associated with your Kickstarter account for "Syncoplay BackerKit". If you don't find it, make sure you search the Spam folder as well, and then if you still can't find it send me a message and I'll send you a new link.
Thanks again and I hope the next post contains pictures of 76 boxes of stands ready for fulfillment! :)
